There’s a difference between challenging yourself to stretch and grow and straining yourself as you try to achieve things.

Four questions to consider and use to self-evaluate:

  1. What is my current health capacity? How am I?
  2. What season of life am I currently in?
  3. Why am I trying to do this?
  4. What support systems do I need to have in place right now?

When you’re straining yourself, and you do so over an extended period, the result may include mental fatigue, physical or emotional injury, anxiety, insomnia, to name a few.
